Day 1. Welcome to Malvern
We pick you up from your door and journey to Malvern. Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Day 2. Spring Blossom and Evesham
Today we are joined by our local guide as we travel through the Worcestershire countryside taking in the beautiful blossom of the apple, plum and pear orchards. We will pass through the plum town of Pershore, known for the Pershore Yellow Egg Plum, we continue through pretty villages before venturing to Broadway where there will be an opportunity for a coffee break before returning to Evesham for lunch and free time.
Please note: The length of the blooming period depends on weather conditions. Cool, calm weather can extend the length of the bloom and a rainy, windy day can bring an abrupt end to the ephemeral blossoms. A late frost can prevent the trees from blooming at all.
Day 3. ‘Black and White Villages’ and Hereford
Today we begin with a drive through Bromyard to Leominster for a short stop. From here we ride around some of the villages in Herefordshire’s beautiful ‘Black and White’ villages trail. Our route takes in delightful cottages, inns, shops in timber framed hamlets including Eardisland, Pembridge, Eardisley and Weobley. This brings us to Hereford in time for lunch, with the afternoon free to explore. Hereford Cathedral is home to the rare Mappa Mundi.
Day 4. Worcester and Malvern
This morning we head for the City of Worcester where we have time to explore the city, its imposing Cathedral is well worth a visit. There are lots of opportunities to obtain lunch. In the afternoon we return to the Victorian spa town of Malvern for free time.
Day 5. Homeward Journey
Sadly, we wave goodbye to our hosts at the
Abbey Hotel, arriving late afternoon for our taxis home
