Lynmouth, Lynton and Dunster
Our first stop this morning is the picturesque resort of Lynmouth where we have time to explore the narrow streets and maybe take the cliff railway to the twin village of Lynton. From here we make our way through scenic ‘Little Switzerland’, as the region is known, to the lovely village of Dunster, with its famous castle and octagonal Yarn Market. We have time in the popular seaside resort of Minehead before returning to our hotel.
Ilfracombe and Woolacombe
This excursion takes us to the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe, known as the jewel in the North Devon Coast. Discover a quaint quayside and harbour, whitewashed villas, lovely beaches, coastal paths and an abundance of cafes and shops. In the afternoon, we visit Woolacombe, with its award-winning beach, renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. We travel via atmospheric Exmoor.
Weston-super-Mare
Morning visit to Weston-super-Mare, which is steeped with Victorian history and dominated by a long stretch of glorious beach. There's indoor and outdoor attractions, including the famous Grand Pier, the world's largest helicopter museum and a huge gallery of stunning street art.
