Tour of the Island and Farringford
We enjoy a scenic tour of the island. On the west of the island, the spectacular cliffs drop to the English Channel. We break for lunch in the yachting haven of Yarmouth. In the afternoon, we visit Farringford, a Grade I Listed Building which was the main residence of the Poet Laureate Alfred, Lord Tennyson from 1853 until his death in 1892.
Godshill and Ryde
We visit Godshill, a quintessential English Village boasting some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight. Time to explore its delightful medieval church, charming thatched-roofed cottages and a winding main-street lined with traditional tearooms. Afternoon at leisure in pleasant Ryde.
