Saturday: We depart Cobham Services in the early morning, stopping off at a motorway services on the way to Holyhead for our afternoon ferry crossing over to Dublin. We check into our overnight hotel (Maldron Hotel, Tallagh) and have dinner.
Sunday: We travel from Dublin to Killarney. En route we visit the fascinating Irish National Stud, Tully, Co. Kildare. In 1945 the Irish National Stud Company was formed to promote the interests of the Irish Bloodstock Industry, which it continues to do today. We will stop in Adare, one of the most picturesque villages in Ireland, time for photos.
Monday: Free day in Killarney.
Tuesday: Today we set out for Tralee and the Dingle Peninsula, stopping in Dun Chaoin to visit The Blasket Centre, a unique heritage centre and museum, which tells the story of a remarkable Irish speaking island community, who lived there until the mid-20th century.
Wednesday: Full day excursion of the Ring of Kerry. Our tour will take us along the Iveragh Peninsula, better known as the ‘Ring of Kerry’ - here mountains, lakes and sea blend into a beautiful landscape. On return to Killarney - travel back in time as we take a traditional Jaunting Car Ride through the Killarney National Park.
Thursday: Today we travel southwards to Bantry, County Cork and visit Bantry House and Gardens – So what is it that makes it so perfect? Why not see for yourself!
Friday: We return to Tallaght, Dublin area and en route visit the Rock of Cashel – The high king of Irish monuments. A spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale.
Saturday: This morning we depart the hotel with a breakfast box and reach the Port of Dublin in good time for our ferry crossing back to Holyhead departing at 0805 hrs. We reach Holyhead in the late morning and continue our journey back to Cobham Services reaching our awaiting taxis mid evening.
