Loch Katrine Cruise
After breakfast, we enjoy a scenic journey through Trossachs National Park to Loch Katrine where we enjoy a 2-hour cruise aboard the Sir Walter Scott Steamship. This afternoon we return making a stop in Aberfoyle, a delightful town in the heart of the national park.
Falkirk Wheel Trip and Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway
Our day begins with the Falkirk Wheel – the world’s only rotating boat lift connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. We enjoy the full experience on a boat trip that sees the boat lifted 35m to sail smoothly onto the Union Canal and back to your starting point. This afternoon we board the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea as we travel along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands, past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct.
Loch Lomond Cruise
We head towards Balloch, an enchanting village on the foot of the Loch Lomond. With fantastic shopping and dining experiences, Balloch also offers a variety of attractions, such as the Sea Life Aquarium, Bird of Prey Centre and the Maid of the Loch, a 1953 paddle steamer with an art deco-inspired interior. Afterwards, enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with views of stately homes and castles along the shoreline, as well as Inchmurrin Island – the largest of Loch Lomond’s 33 islands.
