Thursday: We depart Cobham Services and head Northeast with a service stop along the way before we reach the British ironwork Centre, Oswestry for free time to explore the outstanding metal artworks and sculptures or stop for a tasty treat in the Forge café. We continue in the afternoon onto the Celtic royal Hotel arriving by late afternoon.
Friday: We depart and head to Llandudno one of Britain’s finest Victorian seaside resorts where we spend the day. During our time here we have included a Vintage Marine Drive tour. The tour is a four-mile scenic drive round the magnificent Great Orme headland to Llandudno's West Shore before returning once again to the Llandudno Pier entrance. During the tour you will enjoy spectacular views at every turn. By travelling on the vintage coach, you will witness the Great Orme from an elevated position and observe this wonderful natural asset from a comfortable seat.
Saturday: Departing after breakfast we have a scenic drive passing through Pwllheli on our way to the abersoch known as the ‘second home capital’ of North Wales. We spend some time here before returning to Caernarfon for free time before our final night’s dinner.
Sunday: After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home with comfort stops along the way reaching Cobham Services by late afternoon.
This lovely hotel is centrally located in the historic town of Caernarfon, tastefully decorated throughout with relaxing lounges and all en suite bedrooms featuring TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. There is a restaurant, bar and a leisure club which features a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. The hotel has a lift.
