Swanage Railway
We begin with a drive to the Isle of Purbeck. We enjoy a break for coffee in the riverside town of Wareham. Later we enjoy a journey on the famous Swanage Railway past the local landmark of Corfe Castle. We break for lunch in the traditional resort of Swanage.
We explore the New Forest, visiting the attractive town of Lyndhurst. Originally a hunting forest for William the Conqueror, this delightful area is home to unusual flora and fauna including ponies that roam free. The area was designated a National Park in 2005. In the afternoon, we visit the attractive village of Burley and enjoy a cream tea.
Day at leisure in Bournemouth
Spend the day enjoying Bournemouth, with so much on offer. Enjoy the seven miles of glorious seafront with golden beaches, the fabulous pier and award-winning public gardens.
